Over time, inner CV joints wear from heavy loads, torn boots, water or dust ingress. Replacing the unit cures shudder on take‑off, driveline clunks, and leakage, protecting the differential and seals.

A plunge‑type inner CV joint keeps constant wheel speed as ride height changes. Precision splines engage the diff side gear, while high‑moly grease under a sealed boot reduces friction and heat. The design maintains torque flow even at angle.
