Right Side Skid Control Sensor Wire Harness

This RH wheel/skid sensor wiring harness is a critical link between the ABS wheel speed sensor and the brake/skid control ECU. It’s needed to carry a clean, stable signal so the vehicle can manage anti-lock braking, traction control, and stability control correctly ✅.

How it works

The harness routes the sensor’s pulse signal along the suspension area to the control unit. Good shielding, tight terminals, and flexible insulation protect the signal from moisture, vibration, and road debris. When the wheel speed changes, the sensor signal travels through this wire to help the system modulate brake pressure and keep the car stable on slippery roads.

When this wire is damaged

If the wire is cut, corroded, stretched, or internally broken, the ECU may lose or distort the wheel speed signal. That can trigger ABS/ESC warning lights ⚠️, disable stability functions, cause erratic ABS activation, or increase stopping distance on wet or loose surfaces. In some cases you may notice intermittent faults when turning or hitting bumps due to broken strands inside the insulation.

A fresh harness restores correct sensor communication, prevents repeat warning codes, and helps protect connectors from water ingress and future shorts.
