HVAC Blower Speed Controller ️

Why you need it ❄️

This controller regulates the cabin fan so your A/C and heater deliver the right airflow at every speed. It keeps defogging strong, cooling fast, and noise low. A healthy blower control module prevents motor strain and gives smooth step-less speed changes for true comfort in Toyota cabins.

How it works

Mounted near the blower housing, it reads the signal from the climate panel/ECU and uses a power transistor (not just simple resistors) to pulse the motor ground. The aluminum heat sink sheds heat, a thermal fuse protects the circuit, and the plug-and-play harness ensures stable voltage to the blower motor.

When it fails ⚠️

Typical signs: fan dead, only one speed (often high),weak or surging airflow, hot heat sink smell, blown fuse, or melted connector. Driving effects include slow defogging, uneven cooling, and possible motor overheat. Replace promptly to restore proper climate control and protect the blower.

Fitment tip

Access is usually behind the glove box on the blower case. Two screws out, swap the module, seat the connector firmly.
