Front Left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor for Toyota SUVs

This front-left wheel hub sensor reads tire rotation and feeds the ABS, VSC, and traction control systems. With accurate speed data, your Land Cruiser keeps grip on wet, gravel, or snowy roads and shortens stopping distance when you brake hard.

Why this part is needed ️

It lets the brake computer compare wheel speeds and prevent lock-up. It also supports stability control in corners and hill modes off-road. Without it, safety systems lose key data.

How it works ⚙️

A Hall-effect pickup tracks the toothed tone ring in the hub. As the ring turns, the sensor creates a pulse signal. The ECU converts pulses into wheel speed and adjusts brake pressure and engine torque as needed. The body is sealed against water, mud, and heat, and the harness plugs into the factory connector.

If the sensor fails ❗

ABS/VSC lights turn on, traction control and A-TRAC may disable, stopping distance grows on slick roads, and you can feel early wheel lock in panic stops. Off-road aids may not engage.

Install notes

Bolt into the knuckle, keep air gap clean, route the loom in original clips, tighten to factory spec, and clear codes with a scan tool.
