Engine Air Intake Duct — Fresh Air Channel

This factory-grade intake air duct guides cool, clean air from the front grille to the air filter box. Built from molded ABS for tight sealing and smooth flow, it keeps the engine breathing right, lowers intake noise, and protects the mass air flow sensor. Why you need it ️

Engines make best power with cool, metered air. The duct shields the intake from hot under‑hood air and road splash, while maintaining the designed air path and volume. It also helps the filter last longer by keeping debris away.

How it works ️

At speed, high‑pressure air at the bumper flows through the duct into the air box. Internal vanes and smooth bends reduce turbulence so the MAF reads correctly. The sealed joints prevent leaks before the filter.

When damaged or missing ⚠️

Cracks, loose clamps, or a warped mouth cause unmetered air, rough idle, lean codes, and poor acceleration. Expect louder intake roar, higher intake temps, dust reaching the filter, and increased fuel use. Prolonged leaks can foul the MAF and shorten engine life.
