Why you need it ⛽

Proper cam timing boosts low‑end torque, mid‑range power, and fuel economy. This solenoid lets the ECU advance or retard the intake cam on demand, stabilizing idle and improving drivability in traffic and on highway climbs.

How it works ?️

The ECU sends a PWM signal to the actuator. A magnetic plunger shifts an internal spool, directing pressurized oil through galleries into the cam phaser chambers. Oil pressure rotates the cam relative to the chain; return ports drain oil to hold position. An integrated screen helps keep debris out.

Tech notes ?
