Why this part is needed

This front heat exchanger cools the refrigerant so your cabin gets cold, dry air even in hot traffic. It also holds system pressure in a safe range, protecting the compressor, hoses, and expansion valve. Replace it after stone hits, corrosion, bent fins, or leaks—common on daily city driving.

How it works

Hot, high‑pressure gas from the compressor enters the top header, flows through multi‑flow aluminum tubes and dense fins, and releases heat to airflow from the fan and vehicle speed. The gas turns into a liquid and moves to the dryer and expansion device. Correct heat rejection keeps R134a/R1234yf cooling stable and the A/C efficient.
