Engine Oil Level Dipstick for Mitsubishi 4x4 Engines οΈ
Why this part is needed
This OEM-spec engine oil level dipstick protects your engine by showing the correct oil level at a glance. Right level means stable pressure, lower friction, better cooling, and longer engine life. It supports accurate service checks and prevents costly failures.
How it works
A flexible spring-steel blade slides into the dip tube. Clear MIN/MAX marks indicate the safe range. The molded handle and O-ring seal the tube to stop vapor leaks. For a correct reading: warm the engine, shut it off, wait 2β3 minutes, pull the dipstick, wipe, reinsert fully, then pull again to read. Simple, reliable, no power needed.
What happens if itβs broken
A bent blade, faded marks, cracked handle, or missing seal gives false readings. Underfill risks oil starvation, bearing knock, and overheating. Overfill can aerate oil, raise crankcase pressure, and push out seals. A loose cap may mist oil and cause smells. Replace at once if rusted, kinked, or loose. β οΈ
Tech tips
Lightly oil the O-ring and seat it fully. Keep the blade clean and straight. Check at every fuel fill β½ or before trips. Built to OE length and stop height for the models below. β
